Costs & Billing
This is how the billing works
Our fees are based on the German fee schedule for alternative practitioners (GebüH).
Private health insurance, public service health benefits, and supplementary insurance for alternative practitioners generally cover the costs.
Statutory health insurance
Osteopathy is considered a private service.
However, some statutory health insurance companies partially cover the costs.
Please contact your health insurance company directly for specific details.
Cancellation policy
Appointments that are not cancelled at least 24 hours in advance via Doctolib will be billed privately.
Reimbursement requests
For reimbursement by health insurance, the osteopath must:
-
Be a member of a recognized osteopathic professional association
-
Provide proof of at least 1,350 hours of training
-
Hold a license as an alternative practitioner (Heilpraktiker) or physician, which is required to make a diagnosis
These requirements ensure that the treatment meets the standards demanded by health insurers.
